Step 1
Changing the desktop image is very simple. If you are using the Windows XP operating system, to change the picture, open: "Start" - "Control Panel" - "Display", then select the "Desktop" tab. Find the one you like in the list of background images.

If there is no suitable one among the standard images, you can use another one, for this click the "Browse" button and find the image you need, then click OK. Use files with *.

For those using the Windows 7 operating system, there are two ways to change the desktop image. The first is the simplest one - find the image you want, right-click it, then select "Set as desktop background" from the context menu.

Second option: right-click on an empty place on the desktop, select "Personalization" in the context menu that opens. In the window that opens, find and select "Desktop background". You can install a picture from the list or choose your own by clicking the "Browse" button. With the new wallpaper set, click the Save Changes button.

You should be aware that if you have an initial version of Windows 7 installed, you will not be able to change the desktop background using regular methods, since they simply do not exist in this version (they are blocked by the developers). Nevertheless, there is a way to change the picture, for this you need the Starter Wallpaper Changer utility. After launching the utility, click the Browse button, select the desired image, then click the Apply button. After rebooting, you will see a desktop with a new picture.
