If you only have Opera open from the programs at the same time, you can increase the speed of work by increasing the priority of the process. To do this, by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl + Alt + Del keys, open the "Task Manager". Open the Processes tab and locate the opera.exe process. Right-click on it, and in the menu, set the priority to "Above Average" or even "High" if you have a powerful computer. Remember that this method can negatively affect the operation of other programs running at the same time as the browser.
Step 2
You will achieve a solid increase in performance if you disable unused plugins. To do this, in the "Tools" tab, select the "Advanced" submenu and in the menu that opens, select the "Plugins" item. A window of installed plugins will open in front of you. Carefully review all plugins and, by clicking on the "Disable" button, deactivate the add-ons you are not using.
Step 3
Reduce the number of visited pages in your history. Browser history affects loading time - each entry has its own picture, name and address, loading all this garbage is not easy. By default Opera keeps in memory 1000 of the last visited addresses. To reduce this amount, in the "Tools" tab, select "General Settings". Next, open the "History" item and in the window on the right, set, for example, the value 100. This will shorten the launch time of the browser.

An increase in speed will also give clearing cookies and history (if important data for you is not stored there). Cookies are your personal settings for each of the sites you visit. When you visit any site, Opera starts looking for personal settings, with a large number of saved cookies, this negatively affects the speed of work. Open the "Tools" tab, select the "Advanced" submenu and in the menu that opens, select the "Manage cookies" item. A window will open in which, using the "Delete" button, clear the browser from unnecessary data.
