There are many instructions on the Internet for the Adobe Photoshop program with an interface in English. Working in the Russian version of this graphic editor is not much different from working in an English-language application. To insert a photo into a ready-made frame in Adobe Photoshop in Russian, you need to know how the names of buttons and menu items are translated.

Instructions

Step 1

In most cases, a finished photo frame is an image saved on a separate layer. The empty layer below the frame is for you to paste your photo onto it. If there is no such layer, create it yourself. The "Background" layer is locked in the program, so you have to perform a few additional steps.

Step 2

On the "Layers" toolbar, right-click on the "Background" layer and select "Duplicate Layer" from the drop-down menu, give it a name (optional) and click on the "Yes" button. Next, click on the "Background" layer with the left mouse button to select it, and click the "Create a new layer" icon on the layer toolbar. Select the "Background" layer again and click on the "Delete Layer" trashcan icon.

Step 3

The second option is simpler: double-click in the "Background" field on the lock-shaped icon with the left mouse button, in the "New Layer" window that appears, click the "Yes" button. Or click on the layer with the right mouse button and select the command "From background" from the drop-down menu. Confirm the operation. The layer will be "unfastened". Create a new layer and drag it, holding down the left mouse button, under the "Background" layer.

Step 4

If necessary, on the layer in which the frame is saved, use the selection tool and the Delete button on your keyboard (or the Eraser tool) to clear the field in which the photo should be placed. It should be transparent. Next, open the file with your photo and copy the image to the clipboard. To do this, select the photo using the Selection tool or select the All command from the Selection menu. Press the key combination Ctrl and C, or in the "Edit" menu, select the "Copy" command.

Step 5

Return to the document with the frame, select with the left mouse button the thumbnail of the empty layer you have created and enter the shortcut keys Ctrl and V or in the top menu bar in the "Edit" item select the "Paste" command. Scale the inserted photo. To do this, right-click on the image and select the "Free Transform" command in the drop-down menu. Move the mouse cursor to the corner of the photo and hold down the left mouse button and adjust the image size to the desired size. To maintain the proportions, press and hold the Shift key at the same time.

Step 6

After you have placed your photo in the right place of the frame and select the correct scale, click in the "Layers" toolbar on any of the layers with the right mouse button and select the "Flatten" command from the drop-down menu. Save the finished image in a format convenient for you and in the desired directory by calling the "Save As" command in the "File" menu.
