- Brightness adjustment - here you can adjust the behavior of the display under different power modes. For example, when running a laptop on battery power, it is wise to lower the brightness of the monitor, because the backlight is one of the most power-hungry parts of the computer, and lowering its brightness can significantly increase the battery life of the laptop. When operating on AC power, dimming the backlight can be helpful in reducing eye fatigue in a variety of lighting conditions.
- Personalization is the most interesting section for most users. You can also access it by right-clicking anywhere on the desktop where there are no shortcuts or other objects, and choosing Personalize. Here you can select a picture for the desktop background, change the icons of system shortcuts and mouse pointers, and also change the splash screen that appears when the system is idle and the style of Windows windows. All settings can be saved in your own desktop theme so that you do not have to customize them one by one in the future. Here you can also choose a ready-made theme from both standard Windows themes developed by professional designers, and download a theme from the Internet, where there are many themes created by both professionals and amateurs.
