flash drive, USB extension cable, thin chisel or very sharp knife, plastic construction kit (for example "Lego"), PVA glue
Instructions
Step 1
Take a regular USB flash drive and carefully remove the old case from it. For these purposes, it is better to use inexpensive plastic flash drives, since it is much easier to "strip" them. Now we are preparing a part for a future new flash drive: take the selected plastic part of the designer and mark the boundaries of the flash drive with a pencil (you first need to take a measurement).
Step 2
Take a chisel or a sharp knife and start carefully carving. The hole for the flash drive should be slightly larger than it itself, so that when connecting the two parts, your flash drive does not accidentally get damaged on tight edges. Align the inner walls so that the surface is as flat as possible - this will provide the best contact with the flash drive. Now we are making a cover. Unplug the USB extension cable. It will be needed so that the lid of your flash drive is tightly pressed against the body and does not jump off. By analogy with the manufacture of the case, measure the desired size, transfer it to the plastic part and cut the required hole.
Step 3
Apply a thin layer of PVA to the inner surface of the case and lid and quickly fix the parts together. Let the USB stick and lid dry (this will take no more than an hour). That's it, your new flash drive is ready. If desired, you can make a hole for a lace in it or decorate it with an inscription or rhinestones.
