Step 1
To install codecs, you must first download them to your computer. This can be done on one of the many sites offering various software, but if you do not want to follow the link to the advertisement, and then to the file hosting, go to the official website of the developers at www.codecguide.com and click the Download button in the K-Lite Codec Pack section
Step 2
Here you can download the current set of required codecs, which is the most popular among users. Choose one of the dialing options: Basic, Standard, Full, Mega or 64-bit. For computers with a 32-bit processor architecture, any of the first four options will work, and if you have a 64-bit processor, download the latest codec pack.
Step 3
Wait for the file to download to your computer and run it. The installation of the codecs will be performed in the same way as the installation of a regular program. After the installation process is complete, restart your computer to apply the changes.
