Step 1
First of all, you need to download and install a suitable program for overclocking the processor. For example, you can use a popular utility called SetFSB. This program allows you to easily change the system bus frequency using conventional controls.
Step 2
Download the program from the soft.softodrom.ru portal and install it into the operating system. Start the SetFSB program by double-clicking the left mouse button on the exe-file. Study the program. It has a very simple interface, so even novice users shouldn't have any problems with using it. The Control tab displays the current processor and bus frequencies, as well as a tool for changing them. On the Customize tab, you can set additional system parameters at your discretion.
Step 3
Experiment with the program settings. Please note that changing the characteristics of the processor and bus must be very careful, as incorrect parameters can lead to unstable operation of the processor and motherboard or even damage them. Try to increase the load gradually to see how the computer behaves. Go to the Diagnostics tab and check the stability of the system with the specified parameters. Return to the first tab and change the settings if necessary. The settings are valid only until the computer is restarted.
