Step 1
Typically, computer video adapters have two connectors. Combinations of VGA + DVI and VGA + HDMI are possible. Modern monitors have VGA and DVI ports.

You may have to use several adapters at once to connect a second monitor. The fact is that if both of your displays have only VGA ports (analog signal), and the video adapter has VGA and HDMI connectors, then HDMI-DVI and DVI-VGA adapters are required.
Step 3
Fortunately, there are dedicated DVI to HDMI cables. Their use will allow you not to connect two adapters to each other. Purchase the required set of cables and adapters (if required).
Step 4
Connect both monitors to your computer's graphics card and turn it on. Wait for the loading of the operating system to complete. Most likely, the same signal will be transmitted to both monitors.

It is worth noting one important nuance: not all video adapters support dual-channel operation. This means that only one of the monitors can be active.

We will consider a situation where both displays will work in sync. There are two ways to customize the image transmitted to the screens. Open Control Panel (located on the Start menu) and navigate to the Appearance and Personalization menu.
Step 7
Go to Screen Resolution. Activate the Duplicate Displays function. In this case, an identical image will be displayed on both monitors. Typically this function is used when connecting a TV to watch high definition video.

Select the Expand These Screens option. With this monitor setup, you can use both screens at the same time independently of each other. For example: run the game on one of them and watch the video on the other. Remember that this method requires certain resources and is not suitable for "weak" computers.
