Step 1
Purchase a refill ink that is compatible with your device. You can find the necessary information on this topic by running a search query using your cartridge model as keywords. Ink can be purchased at office supply stores and stores that sell computers and peripherals. Do not forget that you can still order them online.
Step 2
Purchase a special programmer for zeroing the cartridge chips. They can be purchased at specialized printing equipment service stores. Carefully read the instructions for use and remember that only one type of programmer is suitable for each manufacturer, they are also divided by model.
Step 3
Also use the function to disable ink monitoring. This is true for those models in which the cartridge chips cannot be reset, and recently there are a lot of them. To do this, after the printing device displays that the ink is running out, press and hold the paper feed button for 10-15 seconds. After that, the control over the fullness of the cartridge will be disabled, and you can safely refill it.
Step 4
Use the special utilities IPTool and MPTool to reset the ink counter on IP and MP printers, respectively. After installing the refilled cartridge in the printing device, select CHANGE Model. Then press the command to reset the values of the black cartridge RESET Black and RESET Color, respectively, for the color one. After that, you can watch the ink level rise to 100.
