Step 1
Choose a new USB controller for your computer. In this case, be guided by their purpose and your requirements, since their parameters differ significantly. Also pay attention to the speed of the ports and their number. Usually there are 2, 4 or 6 of them on one controller.

Shut down the operating system, disconnect the computer from the power source. Unscrew all existing fasteners from the side wall of the system unit. Find the motherboard and ports for connecting new USB controllers (PCI slot). They are usually found on the bottom left side of the motherboard.

Place the new USB controller in the appropriate slot and secure it in place by bolting it securely to the case. Close the lid of the system unit. Turn on your computer.
