Step 1
Examine the laptop case carefully to establish the serial number. Typically, the serial number of such a product is indicated on a sticker that is attached to the bottom of the product to prevent rubbing. Turn the laptop over and find the serial number sticker. If she's not there, don't despair. In some cases, it can be inside the case, directly under the laptop battery. To view the serial number, open the cover and remove the battery from the case. If the sticker is not there, do not despair.

Review the documentation that was handed to you at the store along with your laptop. The seller certainly had to enter the serial number of the laptop in the warranty card. Find it. It, as a rule, is a double or single sheet of A4 or A5 format. On one side of it are written the conditions for the provision of warranty repairs, and on the other there are warranty coupons. Download from the Internet and install the AIDA 64 Extreme Edition software on your laptop. Please note that you definitely need to download the full version of the program. The trial version will not work as it does not provide a function for detecting the serial number. After the program is installed, restart your computer.

Then run the program. Within a few seconds, the program will independently collect information about your laptop. Go to the main menu. Select the item "Computer", and in it the sub-item "Summary information". Another window will appear. Find the DMI section in it.
Step 5
Find the line "Serial system number" in it. Those letters and numbers that are inscribed on this line are the serial number of your laptop. Enter them in the form on the manufacturer's website to apply for an additional warranty.
