Step 1
Frame extraction is possible with many powerful video editors. First, try this procedure in Adobe Premier Pro. Download the installation files for this utility. Install the program.
Step 2
Reboot your computer. Open Adobe Premier Editor. Go to the File tab and click the New Project button. Now select "Add" from the "File" submenu.
Step 3
Specify the desired video using the launched explorer menu. Wait while the name of the selected file is displayed in the project. Now open the View menu and find the Render Bar item. Activate this function.

Move the processed video to the appeared field at the bottom of the working window. Right-click on the visualization bar and activate the item "Show storyboard".

Wait a while for the program to split the entire video file into separate images. The obvious disadvantage of this program is that all the necessary frames must be saved manually. Naturally, certain photos can be edited without even extracting them from the project.

If you want to quickly split avi video into frames, install the Video to Picture converter program. Open the Open tab and select the file you want. Now click the Output Format button and select.
Step 7
In the Output Size field, specify the width and height of the resulting frames. Be sure to fill in the Output Rate field. Specify the number of frames to be extracted from each second of the video. Each second of a video track typically contains 25-30 images.

Click the Start button and wait for the required number of images to be created.
