Sometimes it is necessary to arrange documents with beautiful frames. This may be needed, for example, for the design of letters of gratitude, solemn congratulations or any messages that you want to print and hang in a prominent place. This can be done even by a person inexperienced in computer science, and not having the skills to work on a PC.
It is necessary
Word text editor (any version)
Instructions
Step 1
Open the document you want to frame in a text editor Word (Ctrl + O).
From the Format menu, choose Border and Fill. This will open the window shown in the screenshot.
In Microsoft Word 2007, to access these settings, first select Page Layout and then search for Page Borders. In this case, in other respects, this version of the editor is no different from the previous ones.
Step 2
In the window that opens, go to the "Page" tab. Here you can customize the frames according to your task and to your liking.
From the drop-down lists, sequentially select the type of the future frame (solid, double, dashed, wavy, dot-dash, etc.), its color and width.
In addition, you can select a pattern from the "Picture" drop-down list as a frame. This pattern can also be "dyed" in almost any color and sized as needed.
Step 3
On the left side of the window, if desired, give the frame a three-dimensional look or overlay a shadow on it. To do this, use the icons of the same name.
In the right part of the window, you can add or remove the border of the frame. For example, if necessary, you can delete the right or left, top or bottom of the frame.
After you are satisfied with the result, click "OK" to accept the changes and save the document.
Step 4
If the end result does not suit you, you can later edit or delete the frame. To do this, open the Border and Fill window again from the Format menu, and change the border settings. To remove it, simply click the "No" icon at the top right of the window.
