Sometimes it becomes necessary to transfer already installed programs from drive C to drive D. The reason may be a banal lack of space on drive C, as a result, the operating system may start to work unstable. It should be clarified right away that simply copying the folder with the program will not help here, because the programs require installation and it will not be entirely correct to talk about their simple transfer. It is necessary to reinstall the programs in the new partition of the hard drive.

Instructions
Step 1
The following steps assume that the C drive is your system drive and the operating system is installed on it. First you need to remove the program from the C drive. You need to do this using the uninstaller of this program. To do this, click "Start", then - "All Programs" and find the program that you want to remove. In the menu of this program, respectively, select "Uninstall" and use the "Uninstall Wizard" to remove it.
Step 2
If through "Start" you could not find the uninstaller of the program, then you can remove it like this. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel". Next, find the Add or Remove Programs component. Depending on the operating system and on the type of menu, it can be in different subsections. Find the program to uninstall. Click on it with the right mouse button and select "Delete". In this way, remove all programs that will be reinstalled on the D drive.
Step 3
To install, you need the installers of these programs. Create a Program Files folder on drive D. The programs you need will be reinstalled in this folder. You can start the installation of the desired program, regardless of where it is installed from (flash drive, disk), by double-clicking on the Setup or Autotorun file with the right mouse button. These files are located in the root folder of the program.
Step 4
The "Setup Wizard" appears. Install the program using the wizard's prompts. Please note that during the installation process there will definitely be a browse button, by clicking on which you can change the folder in which you need to install the program. This must be done, since by default all programs are installed on the C drive. By clicking the browse button, select the D / Program Files folder to install the program.
Step 5
Proceeding in this way, reinstall all the necessary programs on the D drive. After the process is completed, all programs from the C drive will be removed and, accordingly, installed on the D drive. Only the installed programs should be stored in the Program Files folder that you created on the D drive. Do not dump any third-party information into this folder.
