With the advent of 3G modems and Internet telephony in general, the demand for wireless Internet has increased. This can be explained by the lack of any wires in such a modem and a good speed. To increase the speed of data transfer in 3G networks, you need to add a TCP / IP connection on your computer. The result will be an increase in speed of up to 20-30%.

Regedit Registry Editor

Instructions

Step 1

In order to increase the speed of data transfer in the network, and, accordingly, increase the overall speed of work, it is necessary to make changes to the operating system registry. The registry can be opened through the Regedit program, which is located inside the operating system shell. Click the Start menu and select Run. In the Run window that opens, enter regedit.

Step 2

The registry editor will appear in front of you. In the left part of the program window there is a directory tree. In this tree, you need to do the following, opening each folder by double-clicking the left mouse button: select the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SYSTEM - CurrentControlSet - Services - Tcpip - Parameters.

Step 3

In the window that opens, you need to create a new parameter of the DWORD type. To do this, right-click on an empty space on the right side of the window - select the DWORD value. Rename this parameter to TcpWindowSize. Open this parameter and set its value = 65535.

Step 4

After that create a second same parameter named Tcp1323Opts and value = 0.

Step 5

Also the setting must be applied to the internet browser. To configure Internet Explorer, you need to find the folder in the registry editor: HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Software - Microsoft - Windows - CurrentVersion - Internet Settings. In this folder, you need to create a DWORD parameter named MaxConnectionsPerServer and value = 4.

Step 6

Your connection and browser setup has now been completed. Restart your computer and 3G modem connection to check the optimization results.
