A network graph is a type of graph, the vertices of which reflect the state of an object (for example, a construction one), and the arcs represent the work that is being carried out on it. Each arc is assigned the time of work and / or the number of workers who perform it.

Instructions

Step 1

Use the Spu program (https://motosnz.narod.ru/spu.htm) to build a network diagram. Draw the network from left to right, and the work-arrows can at the same time have an arbitrary slope and length, the most important thing when building a network diagram is observing the general direction from left to right.

Step 2

Build a network first, in a draft, do not number events. After that, organize the network, add all unaccounted, as well as missed work, relationships. Do not allow mutual intersections of arrows, it is better to shift the event, or draw it as a broken line.

Step 3

Perform the image of parallel works as shown in the figure. For example, you want to display two or more jobs that match in start and end events but differ in duration, such as electrical and plumbing jobs in a civil building. Their execution is combined, but not always at the same time. When performing such work, introduce additional events, a dependency executed as a dummy connection.

Step 4

When creating a network, also display the supplies of material and technical resources, technical documentation, and equipment. Delivery is external work in relation to production.

Step 5

Show them with a solid arrow that goes from the event as a circle with a zero designation to the event that started using the materials. Determine the duration of delivery from the day of the application to the date of receipt of the equipment (materials, structures) at the warehouse.

Step 6

Show in the network the organizational activities that are related to the organization of the flow, as well as the division of the work front. Depict this dependence as a sequential transition of teams, movement of equipment. In this case, use the principle of threading.

Step 7

Apply two-way and one-way connections to build a network diagram. Please note that closed loops, tail and dead-end events cannot be allowed in it. When covering a large complex of works, enlarge (simplify) the schedule by replacing a complex of similar works with one job.
