Write protection is often implemented by switching a conventional jumper. Take a closer look to see if there is such a jumper on the end of your memory card. A notification that the device is write-protected may appear after viruses have entered the memory card. Check their presence with any anti-virus program. If malware was found, set the mode to clean it up. Then try writing the data again.
