Active inhabitants of the computer space are often faced with the need to change the primary disk. Power users often want to use two operating systems. There are 2 hard drives. One is the main one (from which the bootloader is loaded, on which we install our operating system, the necessary programs and utilities), the other (most often D) is secondary. It is necessary to swap their positions. If you are faced with this, do not get lost. There are two ways: software and mechanical.

Step 1
The programmatic way is done very easily, even by performing a simple algorithm:
At the very beginning of the computer boot, enter the BIOS by pressing the F2 or Delete key (it depends on the version).

Then you need to select the position - BIOS Features Setup

Next, by clicking the left mouse button, click on Boot Sequencing.
Step 4
Now you just need to specify in the Hard disk drivers section which disk from the available ones will be the main one. To do this, find your primary hard drive and name it First primary. Select Second primary on the second disk.
Step 5
Now restart your computer. After rebooting, it will recognize which of the hard disks you installed as the main one.

The second method is mechanical or physical, which involves direct work with hard drives. If you look at the hard drives from the back, you can notice there, the so-called jumper, which is in a certain position. Be careful.
