When installing a new operating system, you should always take the time to customize your computer “For yourself”. This also applies to setting up Internet access, and adding the necessary languages, and installing software.

Step 1
Install Korean language support, and then add fonts to the system if you need to type in Korean on Windows XP. To add Korean to your computer, you need to have Oriental language support installed. To do this, you must insert the installation disc into the drive. If you don't have it, then download the disk image and mount it using Deamon Tools Alcohol 120%.
Step 2
Click on the "Start" button, select the "Control Panel" command, then select the "Regional and Languages" option, select the "Languages" submenu to install the Korean language. Select the "Add additional languages" command, check the support for the languages you need.
Step 3
Better to check both, this will add Japanese and Chinese in addition to Korean. Next, the program will require an installation disc, insert it into the drive, or emulate the disc using the programs specified in the first step. Wait while the program copies the files you need to add the Korean language to your computer. Reboot your computer.
Step 4
Go to the main menu using the "Start" button, select "Control Panel", go to the "Regional and Languages" menu, then select the "Languages" tab. Click the "Add" button, select the Korean language from the list that appears, click "Apply".
Step 5
Add support for oriental languages to the Ubuntu OS by entering sudo apt-get install in the terminal and the name of the package being installed ibus ibus-anthy im-switch. After the installation is complete, enter the im-switch –c command. To install the Korean language, you will need to enter the command # apt-get install ttf-baekmuk.
Step 6
To add a language to the keyboard layout and set a key combination to change the language, go to the main menu, select "System", then "Options" and the item "Keyboard", there select "Languages" and add the Korean language.
