Mozilla Firefox is an application designed to work on the Internet. The browser can keep a log of the sites you visited, store the addresses of resources added to the "Bookmarks", in addition, you can customize its appearance at your own discretion. If you need to restore the browser itself and its settings, there are some details to consider.
Instructions
Step 1
If the Mozilla Firefox browser is removed from your computer, and the installation file is not saved, download it from the Internet. To do this, launch any available browser and go to the website at https://mozilla-russia.org (or visit the official website in English). Click on the Download button, specify the directory for saving the file and wait for the download to complete.
Step 2
Run the installation file and, following the instructions of the "Installation Wizard", install the application on your computer. After that, click on the Mozilla Firefox shortcut to launch the browser. If you backed up Bookmarks, import them into your browser. Import and export of bookmarks is carried out as follows.

To export a log, select Show All Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu. The "Library" window will open. In the "Import and Backup" menu, select one of the options: "Backup" or "Export Bookmarks to HTML File". In the first case, a.json file will be created, in the second case, in.html format. Specify the directory for saving the file and click the "Save" button.
Step 4
To import bookmarks, open the "Library" window as described and select one of the commands: "Import Bookmarks from HTML File" or "Restore" from the "Import and Backup" menu. Specify the directory where the file with bookmarks is saved and press the "Open" button or press the Enter key.
Step 5
The method of processing information on Internet pages is set through the "Tools" menu and the "Settings" item. Move through the tabs and mark with a marker all the parameters you need. When you are finished restoring the familiar settings, click OK for them to take effect.
Step 6
To return the browser to its previous design, you must be registered on the site at https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox (add-ons for Mozilla Firefox) and have a folder with your own selection of skins. Log in to the site and choose the design option you need from your collection. Also, you can always choose a new theme or wallpaper for the browser on the site.
Step 7
If you used any extensions, reinstall them from the site indicated in the previous step. To manage add-ons, click in the "Tools" menu on the "Add-ons" item. On a new tab, select the Extensions section on the left and customize each add-on as you see fit.
