The temperature of the components of a personal computer is a very important parameter that must be closely monitored. The temperature of the components can be found out using special programs that are distributed free of charge on the Internet.

Surely many owners of personal computers know: if you operate your device in "extreme conditions", it will fail very quickly. The same rule can be attributed to the fact that some PC owners do not monitor the temperature of the components that make up the computer. Of course, if you do not monitor the temperature and, if a malfunction is detected, it is not eliminated in time, then either a specific component of the system or the entire computer may be “covered”. If the failure was caused by overheating, the component is considered to be “burnt out”.

Power Supply

The power supply unit of a computer is, although not the most "complicated" part of a personal computer, but this does not make it less important. Like any other device, the power supply unit can "burn out", so you need to monitor its temperature (and other components). Of course, first you need to say that you should not neglect the power supply when choosing components for your personal computer. As the well-known proverb says: "Miser, pays twice!". Therefore, when choosing a power supply unit for your desktop computer, you should choose a device that will be the key to stable, durable and trouble-free operation.

How to track the temperature of a power supply

The components of the power supply unit get very hot during operation and, accordingly, require increased cooling. For this, fans and radiators built into the PSU case are used. The user can monitor the temperature of the power supply and other components using programs: SpeedFan 4.50, Everest or AIDA64. The purpose of all the presented programs is the same - monitoring and tracking the state of the computer as a whole and its parts. Each of the programs has its own, unique, but at the same time quite simple and intuitive interface, a set of tools that determine the temperature of the processor, power supply, system unit, hard drive, video card and other critical components of the system.

In order to view the results, you should install and open one of the above programs and go to the corresponding tab to view. Here you can see a variety of parameters for each part of the system and track its performance as a whole. Testing and tracking the indicators of every part of a personal computer will allow you to timely detect and eliminate a possible malfunction.
