Over time, a dusty plasma panel or LCD TV will not reproduce colors well. This is understandable: the accumulated layer of dust interferes with this. If you just take a cloth and wipe the layer of dust off the screen, you can scratch it without even noticing it. Moreover, if you saw, say, a speck on the screen of your LCD monitor, do not slobber your finger and try to erase this stain, otherwise greasy spots will certainly appear on the display. How to properly clean the screen, read on.
Instructions
Step 1
Some manufacturers of LCD TVs and plasma panels advise using special cleaning agents, although they can be dispensed with. They certainly contain distilled water, so after taking it out, you can prepare a cleaning agent for your TV or monitor yourself. All you need to do is mix distilled water with isopropyl alcohol, and you have a completely mild, harmless, effective and cheap screen cleaner.
Step 2
Dust and fingerprints are the most common soiling on LCD screens, TVs and plastic panels. To deal with dust and greasy fingerprints, you need to prepare carefully. So first take out distilled water, isopropyl alcohol, a measuring cup, two clean, soft, lint-free cloths, and a cotton swab (ear swabs).
Step 3
First turn off your TV or monitor and wait until it cools down completely. Wipe the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust. Now make a mild mixture to clean your screen. Using a measuring cup, measure out equal parts of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water.
Step 4
Dip the same cloth into the solution with a clean end, then remove and squeeze out gently. Next, gently and gently wipe the entire TV, monitor, or plasma panel with the damp cloth.
Step 5
The junction of the case and the screen is a problematic place where dust is driven when cleaning the screen. To clean the joint, immerse one tip of a cotton swab in the previously prepared mixture of distilled water and isopropyl alcohol. Squeeze a swab and gently run it along the junction of the monitor or TV case and its screen.
Step 6
Dry the screen with a second piece of cloth. Do not leave moisture on the screen, especially before turning on the equipment.
