A fairly common case when a computer that has no protection becomes a victim of viruses. The user naively believes that by installing a good paid antivirus on his PC, he will be able to cure his devices from infection. This is not entirely true.
Of course, a good paid antivirus is a pretty solid wall against malware invasion. However, it should be remembered that the antivirus program already installed on the infected computer is just a useless utility. The fact is that being active, a virus program takes up most of the RAM. That is why the antivirus can only damage some files of the malware, but not completely remove it.
Why? The answer is simple: the virus starts its activity simultaneously with the launch of the operating system, and the operating system makes the files of running programs and utilities inaccessible for deletion. It is also not always possible to stop unnecessary processes in the task manager, since there are dozens of them and they are hidden under different names.
For such purposes, computer wizards use special disks with a separate independent operating system. The infection is treated when the infected OS is inactive. Installing antivirus and cleaning from viruses are completely different services and, as a rule, cleaning costs 2 times more. For ordinary users on the Internet, special utilities are available that, when launched from under the system, first simply mark viruses, and remove them when the computer is restarted when the virus programs have not yet had time to load their files into RAM.
