Step 1
The first thing that is needed to remotely access another user's computer (subject to his consent, and we will assume that this is your friend) is a remote assistant program. It is available in the operating systems of all computers. It is not very convenient, difficult for beginners to understand, so we will consider an easier way to solve the problem using the example of the Team Viewer program. It is simpler, free for personal use.
Step 2
Both users must download this program and install it, observing a few rules. So, download the program, run the Team Viewer Setup file, click "run" in the window that appears. In the new window, select "install" and "next".
Step 3
In the newly appeared window, click on "personal / non-commercial use", this is very important. Then again click "next", in a new window, mark with two checkmarks that you accept the terms of the agreement, as usual, and that you agree to use this program only for personal non-commercial purposes, and again - "next". In the next window, click "no", "next", the installation will take place.
Step 4
Now that both users have this program installed, you can remotely access the computer of the person you want to help. To establish a connection between your systems, launch your Team Viewer and ask your opponent to do the same. On the left side of the window that opens, he will see his ID and temporary password for this session, which will be different next time.
Step 5
Next, your friend should tell you his nine-digit ID, which you should enter on the right side of the window, in the “Partner ID” line. After a few seconds, a line will appear in which you will enter his password. After that, click "connect to partner", an image of your friend's monitor with an active cursor will appear!
Step 6
You have now arrived at the scene of an unresolved problem. Get familiar with the controls a little, and after a few minutes, the only thing you will not be able to do is reach out your hand from the monitor to a friend so that he shook it with gratitude!
