Viber is a free program that lets you make calls from one computer to another or to your phone. To install Viber on your computer for free, you will need the installation file of the program and a few minutes of free time.

Step 1
You can install Viber on your computer by downloading the distribution kit from the official website. Select the Windows or MacOS version and click Download. After downloading, run the ViberSetup.exe file. Read the license agreement and click Accept & Install. Wait until the installation of the program files on your computer is complete, after which the application shortcut will appear on the desktop, as well as in the folder in the Start menu.
Step 2
Launch Viber by double-clicking on the program's shortcut, or wait until it starts automatically. To install Viber completely and prepare it for work, the application must be linked to your mobile phone number. At the same time, it is important that you already have the Viber program installed on your mobile device, for example, for the Google Android platform.
Step 3
Accept the offer of the program, and an SMS message with an activation code will be sent to your number in a few seconds or minutes (the procedure is free and completely safe). Enter the code in the appropriate field and continue with the configuration. Viber is now fully set up and you can chat with people on your contact list.
Step 4
Make sure you are ready to make Viber calls. You will need a microphone, which can be purchased and plugged into the appropriate audio jack on your computer. If you have a laptop, you can use the built-in microphone. To adjust its volume, right-click on the sound icon on the taskbar and select "Recorders".
