Browser is an application with which a user can access the Internet, view resources of interest to him, exchange files with other people. These applications are distributed free of charge, they have built-in additional functions that facilitate the user's work. There are a few steps to download a new browser to your computer.

Step 1
After installing the Windows operating system, the Internet Explorer browser is available to the user. In other cases, a different application may be installed on the computer. Be that as it may, do not rush to delete your old browser. With it, you have yet to download a new one.
Step 2
Decide which browser you want to use: Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome or some other application. Launch your old browser and go to the official website of the developer of the software you have chosen (https://mozilla-russia.org, https://opera.yandex.ru and so on).
Step 3
On all sites, the button for loading the browser is located on the Home page, it is large enough so that you will not be able to miss it. Click the button and select a directory to save the installation file on your computer.
Step 4
Wait for the file download to complete. Go to the directory where it was saved. Browsers are installed automatically, so even a novice user can handle the task.
Step 5
Click the left mouse button on the icon of the installation file (setup.exe or install.exe) and follow the instructions of the "Installation Wizard". When the saving of the files necessary for the operation of the browser is completed, close the installation window by clicking on the "Finish" button.
Step 6
After that, the new browser is ready to go. Click on its icon on the "Desktop", in the "Start" menu or on the quick launch bar "Taskbar". The old browser can then be removed.
Step 7
To uninstall the old browser, go to the directory where it was installed and select the uninstall.exe file by clicking on it with the left mouse button. The deletion also happens automatically. Wait for the operation to complete, close the "Remove Programs Wizard" window.
Step 8
If for some reason the uninstall.exe file does not start, call the Add or Remove Programs component in the Control Panel (it is called through the Start menu).
