A screenshot in English means a screenshot. This technology is used to display the operation of program windows or for other purposes when the usual photograph of the monitor screen is not suitable.

Step 1
Most often, screenshots are used when an error is detected in order to report it to the technical support service, for example, when an error occurs when entering the program. Also, screenshots are used to show a step-by-step guide on how to operate a program or install a device.

Surely you have seen and read computer literature; now there are a large number of textbooks for mastering programs, which use illustrations and screenshots. There are no subtleties in taking screenshots and everyone can master this technology.

The easiest and most affordable way to take a screenshot is with the Print Screen (Prt Scn) key. You need to open the necessary and close unnecessary windows, then press the key and the screenshot is already in the clipboard, which can be viewed and saved through any graphics editor. If you do not need to take a screenshot of the entire screen, because only one window needs to be "photographed", hold down the Alt key before pressing Print Screen.
Step 4
If you have never worked with images or installed graphics applications, it is recommended to use the standard MS Paint program. To start it, you must click the "Start" menu and select the "Programs" item.
Step 5
In the list that opens, go to the "Standard" group and click on the Paint line. If this program is not listed in the "Accessories" section, you can find it at the following path C: WINDOWSsystem32mspaint.exe.
Step 6
In the main window of the program, click the top menu "Edit" and select "Paste" (keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V). To save the snapshot, click the top menu "File" and select "Save As". In the window that opens, select the directory for saving the image, enter the name of the file, select its format and click the "Save" button.
