Surely you have already encountered the problem of printing delay on your printer: you sent several documents to print by pressing the corresponding button, and the printer is "silent" for a long time. As practice shows, the problem is in the freezing of some files - in the "Print Spooler".

Step 1
The most affordable and fastest way to clear your printer's print queue is by pressing a special button on its panel, but not all devices have it. Most printers get rid of the print queue when the power is restarted for 5-7 seconds. But turning off the printer and turning it back on when the queue problem does not appear for the first time is not entirely rational. Especially considering the fact of its distant location.
Step 2
As a rule, turning off the power is extremely rare, so it is worth resorting to the standard way to clear the print queue (using the "Print Spooler"). Click the "Start" menu and select the "Control Panel" section. In the window that opens, find the "Printers and Faxes" item and run it. Also, the printer settings window is launched using the command of the same name in the "Start" menu.
Step 3
If I'm missing the Printers and Faxes item, you can always add it by going to settings. To do this, right-click on the Start icon and select Properties. In the window that opens, click the "Configure" button and go to the "Advanced" tab. In the "Start Menu Items" section, check the box next to the "Printers and Faxes" item. Press the "OK" button two times.
Step 4
Double-click on the icon of the active printer and in the "Print Spooler" window that opens, look at the "Document" column. Find "stuck" among other documents that you sent to print. Click on it with the right mouse button and select "Cancel".
Step 5
Then all subsequent documents should automatically go to print. If this did not happen, select the "Restart" line in the context menu. But restarting printing documents does not always help, so it is recommended to click the "Printer" menu and select the "Clear print queue" option. Then open documents that you have not yet output to the printer and try the operation again.
