Running a presentation on a desktop computer
You can open the PPTX file if Microsoft Office with PowerPoint is installed on your system. Double-click the left mouse button on the required document. The presentation will automatically open in the system and will be available for editing. However, if for some reason the PPTX file does not open, right-click on the document and select the "Open with" attribute, and then select the appropriate program from the list that appears.
PPTX files cannot be opened on the system without an appropriate presentation viewer.
A handy utility that can be comparable in functionality to PowerPoint is available in the LibreOffice office suite. Download this set of applications, complete the installation, after which you can open the presentation file by double-clicking on it with the left mouse button.
Other free utilities for viewing PPTX include PPTX Viewer, which allows you to view and print your presentation without installing PowerPoint. The program is perfect for quickly viewing the desired file and performing basic editing functions.
Presentation on mobile platforms
On mobile devices on Android and iOS platforms, there are also tools for opening and editing presentations with the.pptx extension. Go to the device's application store (Play Market and AppStore, respectively) and select the program you need to view by entering the PPTX request in the top search line. Install the selected program on your device using the "Install" or "Free" button in the window of the selected application.
Among the most common free presentation editing programs, OfficeSuite and Kingston Office are worth mentioning.
After installing the required program, launch it using the icon on the main screen of the desktop. In the list of documents available on the device that appears, select your presentation file to view and edit it. If you are using iOS, to import PPTX, you may need to download the presentation file by downloading it from the Internet or copying it from your computer, connecting the device with a cable and launching the iTunes utility. The import is carried out through the "Applications" section, which is available in the side panel of the program. Select the newly installed utility from the list and drag the PPTX file to its name using the left mouse button pressed. After that, you can disconnect the device from the computer and run the previously installed program.
