Or the well-known photo processing package Adobe Photoshop can be "taught" new ways to modify images. Most often plugins come with an installer, but you can also install them manually.

Step 1
Find out the exact version of the program to which you want to connect the extension and its correct name. To do this, start this program and in the top line of the menu find the item "Help", click on it and select the line "About the program …" or About. Memorize or write down the data. Also, find out the correct name of the plugin, this will help you quickly find and download the desired file if you do not already have it.

So, you have the name of the program and the name of the plugin that you want to install. For almost all programs that can be "improved", the manual installation method has a general principle. You need to place the plugin files in a special folder in the directory of the utility that you want to "upgrade".

Download the plugin you need, making sure to check that it is compatible with your version of the program. To do this, open a search engine in an Internet browser and enter a query. For example, "Download plug-in for Photoshop CS3". Save the archive with the extension files.
Step 4
Find the downloaded plugin and unzip its contents to the folder with the program for which it is intended. An important circumstance - there is a Plug-Ins directory inside the program folder. This is where you extract the contents of the archive so that you can use the extension. Most plugins will work correctly only if the folder names are written in Latin characters.
Step 5
That is, if you have Photoshop installed on the C: drive in the Programm Files folder, then you need to unzip or copy the plugin to the C: drive into the Programm FilesPhotoshopPlug-InsPapka-s-nazvaniem-plagina directory.
Step 6
Open the program and check for new tools or features in its arsenal. The most common reasons why this or that plugin does not work is its incompatibility with your version of the utility or incorrect location after saving.
