Instructions
Step 1
If you want to disable the autocomplete function in Internet Explorer 6 and above, enter the "Service" menu. In it, select "Internet Options". In the properties window that opens, go to the "Contents" tab. Find the section "Personal information" in it, click on "Autocomplete" in it.
Step 2
A new window will open in front of you with the "Use autocomplete" section. You will see a listing of the functions where this command is used. To prevent your name and passwords from being saved, uncheck the boxes next to "Forms" and "Usernames and passwords in forms." Use the OK button to confirm your choice.
Step 3
From this moment on, the data you entered will not be saved, but the already memorized ones will remain. If you want to completely clear the AutoComplete memory, use the Clear Passwords and Clear Forms commands in the same window.
Step 4
In the Mozilla Firefox browser, go to the "Tools" tab. If the command line is not displayed at the top of the browser window, press the Alt key on your keyboard. Select the "Settings" command. In the window that opens, go to the "Privacy" tab. In the History window, you've set Firefox to "remember history." Click on the arrow and select: "will not remember history." You can also clear your browsing history.
Step 5
Go to the "Protection" tab. In the "Passwords" window, uncheck the "Remember passwords for sites" option. Use the "Exclusions" button to add sites for which you want to save passwords. To see which passwords are saved in your browser, click Saved Passwords. In the window that opens, you can selectively delete or leave them using the appropriate buttons.
Step 6
When deleting passwords, be sure that they will not be useful to you. Rewrite them in a safe place so that later, if necessary, you can safely restore them.
