After reinstalling the operating system, in many cases you have to manually install drivers for all devices on your computer. But how do you know which drivers are not installed yet?

Instructions

Step 1

If you have a My Computer icon on your desktop, right-click it, select Properties, and then click the Device Manager tab. In Windows 7, the "Device Manager" command can be selected directly from the context menu.

Step 2

If the My Computer icon is not displayed on the desktop, open the Start menu, select Control Panel, and open Device Manager.

Step 3

In the opened system dialog box, you will see a list of all devices installed on your computer. The hardware for which the drivers are installed will be displayed as device icons. Devices for which the system lacks drivers will be shown as yellow icons with exclamation or question marks.
