In order to save money, you can buy a computer or laptop without a preinstalled operating system. Naturally, this approach pays off if you are able to install Windows on your own or prefer to use free operating systems.

Windows installation disc
Instructions
Step 1
To install the Windows operating system on a new computer, usually use DVDs containing the necessary files. If your PC doesn't have a DVD drive, create a bootable USB stick. The choice of media has practically no effect on the installation algorithm for the system components.
Step 2
Insert the installation disc into the drive or connect the USB flash drive to the USB port. Turn on your computer (laptop) and open the BIOS menu. Now find the submenu displaying the hardware boot sequence. Prioritize the connected USB storage device or DVD drive.
Step 3
Save the settings by pressing the F10 key. Reboot your computer. If you are using a DVD, wait for the Press any key to boot from CD message to appear and press an arbitrary key.
Step 4
Wait while the installation files are being prepared. Click the "Install" button when the appropriate window appears. If you are installing Windows Vista or Seven (7), prepare your hard drive for downloading files. Create an additional partition that is larger than 40 GB. Format it and click Continue.
Step 5
Now wait 20-30 minutes for the first stage of the operating system installation to complete. The computer will then automatically restart. Make sure to boot from your hard drive and not an external drive.
Step 6
After a while, you will be prompted to pre-configure the system operation parameters. Create a new user profile, set the parameters of the Window firewall. Wait until the second stage of installation is completed and the computer restarts.
Step 7
After completing the system installation, install the drivers for important devices. To do this, use the Sam Drivers program. This will allow you to quickly update drivers for most elements of your PC, thereby ensuring their stable operation.
