Step 1
Undo the last action you took. To do this, select the "Edit" item in the main application menu. In the drop-down menu that opens, click on the item whose name begins with the word "Undo". The title of this item consists of the word "Undo" followed by the name of the last applied instrument or performed action. Therefore, you can always see which operation will be canceled. Instead of selecting the specified menu item, you can press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Z. It should be remembered that this operation only undoes one last action. If you select the same menu item again, or press Ctrl + Z, the undone operation will be repeated.
Step 2
Undo several actions in succession. From the main menu select "Edit" and then "Step Backward". Do this several times. Instead of selecting a menu item, you can press the Alt + Ctrl + Z key combination. Actions will be canceled sequentially, in the reverse order of their execution. In this case, only the actions performed with respect to the current image will be canceled. Actions such as choosing a color or brush will not be canceled.
Step 3
Cancel action group in one click. Open the list of the history of image changes. To do this, click on the "History" tab in the panel on the right.
