When working on a personal computer, unexpected errors or malfunctions in programs or in the system may occur. There are various ways to get out of errors.
Instructions
Step 1
If you work in a text editor Microsoft Word, you may encounter such typical errors as inserting an object in the wrong line, including a different case, choosing a design style that does not match the type of document, and others. How to get out of the error in this case? On the toolbar of the text editor there is a button "Undo", with which you can undo the last action or several actions at once.
Step 2
If you play computer games, and the system crashed, that is, there was an error in the program that led to its freezing, then you need to try to exit the game. This can be done using the Esc key located in the upper left corner of the keyboard. Some other programs can be exited with this key. Press the Esc key. The system will ask the traditional question of whether you really want to log out. Click Ok and the program will be closed.
Step 3
If an error or failure caused your computer to freeze and it is not possible to quit the game or program, then all that remains is a reboot. To restart your computer, enter the "Start" menu and left-click on the triangle next to the "Shut down" command. On some versions of the operating system, shutdown must be enabled. In the list of commands that appears, select "Restart". After a few seconds, the computer will restart and you can play or work again.
Step 4
If the freeze caused the mouse to stop responding to your actions, then restarting can be enabled with the keys on the keyboard. Press and hold the three keys Ctrl, Alt, Delete (Del) at the same time until the reboot begins. There is also a small button on the system unit that can be used to restart the computer.
