It is no coincidence that the System volume information folder is called the system folder. It stores service files of the operating system: copies of program files, reports, data on ongoing procedures, resources for system recovery, etc. By default, access to this folder is closed.

Step 1
You must have administrator rights to make changes of this kind. Check your privilege level in the User Accounts section or contact your computer administrator. You can also create a separate account with which you can perform various operations on your PC. Display system files in My Computer windows. To do this, go to the properties of the "My Computer" windows, click on the "Organize" item at the top of the screen and select "Folder and Search Options".
Step 2
Go to the "View" tab and make the following changes: check the box next to "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck the boxes "Hide protected system files", "Use simple file sharing". Confirm the changes by clicking on the "OK" button. Thus, you will completely open all system folders and files that are located in the computer's operating system. Try not to delete anything, as you can damage the system, and beyond recovery.
Step 3
Configure access rights to the folder: right-click on the System Volume Information folder icon, and then left-click on the "Properties" item. In the "Security" tab, add your user and set the necessary rights in the list below. Now you can view the contents of the System volume information folder and change it. You should not delete files from this folder if you are not absolutely sure what they are for. Use special utilities to free up free space if you need it. Also check folders for malicious applications, as viruses often hide in the system.
