Themes in the Windows 7 operating system refers to the color scheme of windows and desktop. The user can change the color schemes for each individual account.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the "Start" menu and left-click once on the "Find programs and files" line. Enter the query "color". As you enter text into the search bar, lines with programs and files that satisfy the query will appear at the top.

In the list that appears, find the line "Change the color scheme" and click on it once with the left mouse button. The Window Color and Appearance dialog box opens, showing samples of the working windows and the main screen.

Also, the "Window color and appearance" settings area can be launched in another way. To do this, open the "Start" menu and in the list on the right, click once with the left mouse button on the "Control Panel" line. In the settings window that opens, click on the "Screen" line. A window with image settings will open, in the list on the left in it, click the "Change color scheme" line once with the left mouse button.

In the window that opens, select the color scheme you like. To do this, open the list with schemes and alternately left-click on the lines with the names of color schemes, or move between the lines by pressing the up and down arrows on the keyboard. After selecting a certain line with the name of the scheme, the field with samples will change. After the required color scheme for working windows and areas has been selected, sequentially press the "Apply" and "Ok" buttons. The color scheme of the working windows will change without restarting the computer.

Typically, the standard Windows operating system color schemes are boring and unattractive. In this regard, users have the ability to manually customize the color scheme. To do this, in the "Window Color and Appearance" dialog box, click the "Other" button and, selecting various elements of the window and workspaces on the sample above, change their characteristics (for example, font, color, size, etc.).
