Mac OS is Apple's popular operating system. It is the second most used operating system after Windows. In May 2011, its total market share was 5.4%. But many users have a problem with uninstalling programs in this OS, because it is not done exactly the way most people are used to in Windows.

Step 1
Please note that programs for Mac OS do not have an uninstall package, as this operating system is caseless. The easiest method to uninstall an application on Mac OS is to drag the application package to the trash can. But sometimes this is not enough to permanently uninstall the program on Mac OS.
Step 2
Download and install Sponge, a program for cleaning your hard drive, including the ability to uninstall programs from Mac OS. You can download the program from the update site for the Mac operating system - https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/29766/sponge. Install the program and run it
Step 3
Go to the hard disk partition where the program is installed, select the Applications command, then select the application you want to remove, select it and click the Move to trash command at the bottom of the screen. The uninstallation of the program is complete.

Use AppTrap to remove software from the Mac operating system, you can download the program from the update site for this OS - https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/25323/apptrap. Install and run the program

Then go to the folder with the installed program, select the program file and select the "Delete" command from the context menu. The AppTrap window opens and searches for any additional files for the software you want to uninstall. You can either delete them too (Move files), or leave them on disk (Leave files).
Step 6
Use the AppCleaner program to remove unnecessary programs, download it from the website https://www.prostomac.com/goto/https://www.freemacsoft.net/AppCleaner/, install and run the program. Select the Uninstall tab and simply drag the application files into this window. Alternatively, go to the Applications tab to see a list of installed programs. When you select a program from the list or drag it into the window, the utility will find all the garbage belonging to the program and offer to delete it. Thus, the system is completely cleared of the selected program.
