After purchasing a certain banner, sometimes there is a need to edit its image or the text of the advertising slogan. If you ask the manufacturer to do this, you will have to spend your money again. It makes no sense to do this if you plan to change the banner text more than once. And why order something that you can do yourself? This article will explain in detail how to make your own banner from any image.

Instructions

Step 1

Open a graphics editor. Click the File menu, then select New. In the new window, select the size of your banner, they come in different sizes. The most popular size for a banner is 468x60. The banner will be 468 pixels wide and 60 pixels high. Change the resolution to 150 pixels instead of the usual 72. Set the background to transparent and click the "OK" button.

Step 2

In the main window of the program, on the left side, there is a toolbar. Choose a suitable color for your banner, then use the fill by clicking the bucket button. Your banner will be colored in the selected color.

Step 3

If the picture is much larger in the size of your banner, you need to reduce it. Press the key combination Ctrl + T. In editing mode, reduce the size of the image by pulling the edge of the picture downward. Also on the main panel, you can set the scale of the photo (in width and height).

Step 4

You can use the Magic Wand tool to clean up your image from the background and other unnecessary elements. Click on the unwanted part of your image with a stick, then press the Delete button. Now move your image anywhere in the banner and add text by clicking on the Text tool.

Step 5

Click the "File" menu, then "Save As", select the save format.jpg"
