The easiest way to decorate your computer is to set an unusual and beautiful desktop wallpaper. You can either download the wallpaper from the Internet, or make it yourself in Photoshop.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out the resolution of your monitor and select any image - a picture or a photograph that would correspond to the monitor's resolution in terms of proportions and dimensions. If the picture you like is too small and cannot be stretched to full screen, you will have to place it on a special background.
Step 2
Better to use a large image. To find out the size, right-click on the image and call "Properties" - in the window that opens, you will see all the parameters of the selected file.
Step 3
To create a desktop theme from your image, use a regular Photoshop editor or an online photo editor.
Step 4
First, crop the image by selecting the Crop tool from the toolbar. Click in the right place on the photo and drag the frame with the pressed mouse button. Move the frame to set the correct composition of the pattern. After trimming off excess edges from the image, press Enter to apply the changes.
Step 5
Open the Edit menu and select the Image Size section. Specify in the appropriate fields the height and width of the image corresponding to the resolution of the monitor (for example, 1280x1024 pixels). Now choose the Save option from the File menu and save the image in JPEG format.
Step 6
There are other programs in which you can make wallpaper for your desktop from any picture - in each editor you just need to crop the image and then resize it to the appropriate screen resolution.
