Instructions
Step 1
In order to make an icon from any picture, you can use a special program Easy Picture2Icon, which will allow you to achieve the desired result in a matter of seconds. In addition, this program is free to download on the Internet and is only 375 kb in size. Download it, run the installation file, confirm the license agreement, select the installation path, wait for the process to complete.
Step 2
When the program is installed, launch it by double-clicking on the corresponding icon (from the Start menu, from your computer desktop, or from the folder that you selected during the installation process).
Step 3
In the window that appears, click the "Open picture" button and search for the desired picture or photo on your computer.
Step 4
Adjust the parameters of the icon: set the desired size (16x16, 32x32 or 48x48 pixels), set the transparency if necessary, remove the edges. You can select several size options at once, which will be recorded in the future under one ICO file.
Step 5
Save the result to the hard disk of your computer. To do this, click the "Save icon" button, select a location and confirm the decision with the "Ok" button.
