Instructions
Step 1
One of the latest and most convenient versions of the free Opera browser is 11.50, build 1074. First, you need to configure the sidebar tabs. Click on the Opera icon in the upper left corner. Select "Toolbars" - "Sidebars". Or press the "F4" key. A side panel has appeared on the left side, the location of which can be customized. From top to bottom on the panel there are buttons: "Bookmarks" (in the form of an asterisk), "Notes", "Downloads", "History" and at the very bottom the button "Sidebars" (in the form of a plus sign).
Step 2
Click on the "Sidebars" button and select "Customize". The "Appearance" menu window will open, in which you can customize the display of the required sidebars and their location.
Step 3
Opera provides the ability to customize the desired site in the form of a web panel. To do this, in the "Appearance" menu window, pay attention to the "Opera can display a bookmark as a sidebar" item. Click on the "Add Web Panel" button. The Bookmark Properties window opens. In the "Address" field, enter the full address of the desired site, in the "Folder" field, specify the folder in Favorites, where the link to this site will be located.

Choose where the site button will be displayed - check the boxes "Show on bookmarks bar", "Show in side bar". Click "Ok", now your site icon appears in the sidebar. If there is no need for such a panel, right-click on the site icon and select - "Remove panel".
Step 5
To customize the main bookmark list, click the star-shaped icon in the sidebar. By default, bookmarks contain the Opera Links folder and the Recycle Bin. There are two buttons above the folder list, Add (in the form of a plus sign) and View (in the form of a wrench).
Step 6
Click on the "View" button to customize the appearance of the bookmarks bar. It is proposed to arrange folders in the form of a tree structure, separate folders and their contents, or make separate folders.
Step 7
Bookmarks can be sorted manually, this is a very convenient function for placing links in any convenient order, you can simply drag a folder with the left mouse button. You can also arrange links by date - time of creation or visit, by name, i.e. just alphabetically.
Step 8
Opera also provides the most convenient Express Panel function. In order to open the most popular sites from this panel, create a new tab, click on one of the nine cells where it says "Click to fill."
Step 9
The window that opens will offer several options for filling, including frequently visited sites and currently open pages. You can select a web address from the list provided, or enter your own. You can also drag and drop the address from bookmarks using the left mouse button, from the panel, or any other source where the web address is displayed.
