One of the most common computer entertainment is watching movies. Feature films or documentaries can be purchased at any disc store - most often they are released on regular DVD media, but you can also find double-sided film discs.
Instructions
Step 1
Insert the movie disc into your computer drive. Carefully remove the optical disc from the bracket in the disc packaging box without damaging the inner side. Place the disc in the grooves of the drive and make sure it lies flat. Close the drive carriage by pressing the Eject button.
Step 2
Wait for the automatic download of the contents of the optical disc to start. If you are using Windows 7, a window will appear on the screen asking you to select an action - select "Open folder to view files" by clicking on it with the mouse pointer. If the disc does not start automatically, you need to independently double-click the left mouse button on the "My Computer" shortcut. Next, select the name of the disc that is inserted into the computer.
Step 3
If the disc is automatically triggered, the My Computer window opens, displaying the contents of the disc. If you are copying a movie whose files are organized into a DVD project, you will see two folders - Video TS and Audio TS. Otherwise, regular video files will be displayed in the list.
Step 4
Select folders and files with your mouse pointer. Right-click on them to bring up the internal menu, and select the "Copy" item in it. Then find the folder on the hard drive of your computer where you would like to place the selected files. Call the menu again and select the "Insert" item.
Step 5
After you finish copying the contents of the disk to the hard drive, try to run the movie directly from the folder on your computer. If it is a DVD project, go to the Video TS folder and find the VIDEO_TS. IFO file - this is the main one. If the copied movie does not start, it is possible that your operating system lacks a special program - a certain video codec.
