Counter Strike 1.6 is one of the most popular online shooters that allows an ordinary player to easily create his own server. A distinctive feature is also the ability to change the created server in various variations, in particular, by introducing music into it instead of the standard one. It is quite simple to do this, and even a beginner can cope with this task.
Necessary
Fly Studio 8
Instructions
Step 1
To install a sound file in Counter-Strike 1.6, first download or convert the version of the sound with the WAV extension using specialized programs. Also make sure that there are.cfg files in the game folder, namely userconfig.cfg. Be careful, there are a huge number of configuration files similar in name, but you need userconfig. Move it to the cstrike folder. Then rename the downloaded (or converted) audio file to voice_input. Now, when you press the button responsible for turning on the microphone (usually this is the K key in the English layout), your music will be played on the server.
Step 2
To create any sound file intended for CS, open Fly Studio 8. At the top, find the button with the scissors icon. A window with 2 rows of buttons will open. Select the very first one from the bottom, and in it click on Load Sample, then select the desired music or sound. After the file is loaded, move the mouse cursor over the graphical sound table and select the fragments you need. They should be highlighted in red. Then press the third button from the left, which shows the scissors and select Cut. Click on the button on the right - save, choose in your opinion where to save and under what name. Below there is a strip with the words Microsoft wave file (* wav), in this field select - Microsoft compressed wave file (* wav).
Step 3
It is also possible to play music for players when connected to the server. To do this, download the plugin from the following link https://makeserver.ru/engine/download.php?id=62. Copy the loadingsound.amxx file to addonsamxmodxplugins. Move the sound folder to Valvecstrike. To install your own music, go to the vox folder and replace the standard audio file with your own (renamed to loading and converted to wav format). Then restart the server for the changes to take effect.
