The module is an extension of the CMS Joomla system to add new functionality to your page without touching existing elements. It is javascript for modifying the system code. It contains line numbers and files to add to the system.

Instructions
Step 1
Go to your Joomla system control panel to add the module. The following standard modules are available for this: Wrapper - creates a window in the desired position to display the page; the "Banner" module displays the corresponding object at a certain place.
Step 2
To display the user login / registration form, select the "Login" module. To add a poll on the site, select "Voting", it must be created in advance in a special component, and then select it in the module parameters.
Step 3
You can also add any RSS feed to the site using the "News feed". The "Menu" module allows you to customize the display style of the main site menu, start and end levels. If necessary, create a module "Site navigator", "Search", "Latest news", "Related materials", "Now on the site", "Statistics".
Step 4
Go to your Joomla system control panel, select "Extensions" - "Module Manager", click on the "New" button to add a new module. In the pop-up window that appears, select the "Materials" option, then the name of the module, for example, "Latest News".
Step 5
In the next window, set the following settings: enter the module title. Select Position 6. Select all categories, click on the “Save and Close” button, then click on “Browse Site” to view the resulting module.
Step 6
Create a module to display the most popular (i.e. most visited by users) articles. To do this, go to "Extensions", select the "Module Manager" option, click "Create". In the window that appears, select the "Materials - most read" option. Set the following settings for creating a new module: enter the name of the module, select all categories and the sixth position. Click Save & Close.
