A familiar picture set as a desktop theme can get bored. Or maybe a more strict design is required for the desktop. You do not need to endure a boring drawing. To remove a graphic used as a desktop theme, you need to follow a few simple steps.
Instructions
Step 1
To delete a desktop theme (a graphic image serving as a background), right-click anywhere on the desktop. In the drop-down menu, select the line "Properties" (the last line from the bottom) and click on it with the left mouse button. The properties window will open.
Step 2
In the window that opens, go to the "Desktop" tab by clicking on the inscription with the left mouse button. At the top of the tab, the current desktop theme is visually displayed, at the bottom is a list of images that can be used as a theme, and control buttons.
Step 3
On an open tab, the theme in use is displayed in the list by highlighting. If it's a custom image, it will be at the bottom of the list. Using the scroll bar, go up to the top of the list and select the first item "None". Click the "Apply" button - a desktop view without a theme will be displayed at the top of the window.
Step 4
Then you can click "OK" or "X" in order to close the desktop properties window or continue the configuration. Using the drop-down menu of the "Color" item, you can select the color of the desktop background. If you did not find the color you are interested in in the palette, click on the "Other" button in the color selection window and select the desired color from the spectrum.
Step 5
If you want to revert the deleted desktop theme or install a different one, repeat the previous steps and select the desired theme from the list. If the topic is not listed, click the Browse button to bring up a dialog box where you can find the image you are interested in.
