Various information about the system is displayed here: the processor, its load, RAM, all processes that are currently running and applications. Here, the user can view information about the speed and performance of the network.
Most often, users resort to "services" and the capabilities of the task manager in the event that their computer freezes and stops responding to any requests. This usually happens as a result of a system load or improper memory management of running programs. It is with the help of this software that the user can solve the pressing problem, namely, close the process or application that is not responding with the help of a forced shutdown.
How do I start the Task Manager?
To use this tool, the user will need to use one of the following methods: for example, you can use the Ctrl + Alt + Delete hotkey combination and click on the "Task Manager" button in the menu that appears. This will open the Windows desktop and a corresponding window will appear. It is worth noting that this method is good if your computer is frozen and no longer responds to mouse actions. If the computer does not freeze, but some application still does not respond, then you can left-click on an empty space on the taskbar (at the bottom right of the screen), after which a context menu will appear where you should select "Task Manager".
In any case, a corresponding window will appear, where the user will see several tabs, these are: "Applications", "Processes", "Performance", "Network", "User" and "Services". As you might guess, each tab is responsible for a specific parameter. In the "Applications" tab, you can see a list of all programs currently running. In the "Processes" tab, you will see a list of currently active processes. "Performance" - information about the processor load is displayed. "Network" - as you might guess, the load of the local network is shown (if it is present). "User" (only in administrator mode) - the users registered as accounts who are currently working on the computer are displayed. Finally, the Services tab (starting with Vista) stores information about all the services in the Windows operating system.
