Often, when starting a program, you may encounter a message displayed on the monitor screen: "*.dll file not found". As a result, the program does not start. That is why every PC user should be able to make a dll file.
Necessary

Instructions
Step 1
From the Delphi compiler menu, choose File, then click New. As a result of such manipulations, the New Items dialog box will appear on the monitor screen. Select the DLL icon in the window and press Enter.
Step 2
After a new project appears, which will be named PROJECT 1 by default, select the File command from the Delphi compiler menu, and then click on the Save As tab. As a result, a dialog box with the inscription Save Project As will appear on the screen.
Step 3
Use the Save In combo box to select a folder. Then in the FileName edit line, type FIRSTDLL. DPR and click on the Save tab. At the end of the above operations, the main source module of the project will appear - FIRSTDLL. DPR. It is he who will give his name to the DLL file, but this will happen only after compilation and subsequent linking.
Step 4
To register the *.dll file, make entries in the Windows registry. If registration is done manually, then in the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionSharedDLLs] branch create the REG_DWORD parameter. For example, this could be C: Program FilesInterVideoCommonBinStorageTools.dll. In addition, registration can be performed using the file manager Total Commander or the following sequence of actions: "Start" -> "Run" -> "Start the program" -> regsvr32 with the file name. Then click OK.
