The iso file contains a "disk image" - a very exact copy from which you can recreate the original disk if necessary. This format allows you to save not only files, but also the disk system of the original CD or DVD. A set of programs from the German company Nero allows you to burn images contained in iso files to physical media.
Instructions
Step 1
Start Nero Express, a lightweight version of the main Nero Burning ROM program. The simplified version works like a "wizard", that is, it breaks the whole process into steps and sequentially displays a dialog box in which you need to make a choice from the options offered. This technique greatly simplifies the procedure. On the left side of the first step of the launched dialog, four groups of tasks are listed, from which you need to click the bottom item - "Image, project, copy". Tasks related to this group will appear on the right side - select here the lower item ("Disk image or save project").
Step 2
Find the iso file containing the desired disk image using the dialog that opens and click the "Open" button.
Step 3
Change, if necessary, the recording device by selecting the required one from the “Current recorder” drop-down list. Here you can also select the number of copies of the disc that you intend to burn.
Step 4
Click the vertical button on the left side of the window to access several additional settings. Here, for example, you can set the recording speed. By default, this field is set to the value "Maximum" and it makes sense to change it only if, as a result of the previous attempt, the recording on the disk turned out to be defective. Also, make sure the Simulate box is unchecked, as otherwise there will be no actual writing to disk. If you do not plan to wait for the end of the process, which can sometimes take quite a long time, then you can check the box "Automatically shut down PC".
Step 5
Click the "Burn" button when all the necessary settings are made, and the program will begin the process of burning the image to disk. On the screen you will see the "Process Status" and comments on what the program is currently doing with the disk. At the end of the procedure, Nero beeps and pulls out the tray with the freshly burned disc from the iso image.
