When recording video to various media, it is often necessary to pre-split the files into several elements. To carry out this process, it is customary to use special utilities.
Necessary
- - VideoCharge;
- - VirtualDub.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the VideoCharge program from its developers site. Install the downloaded utility and run it. Open the File menu. Go to Import Video.
Step 2
After opening the explorer menu, select the desired avi file. Wait a while while the video is loaded into the program. Now open the "Tools" tab and select "Split".
Step 3
Select the file division option. If you want to split the video into two parts, please specify the type "Time" or "Size". In the first case, specify the largest size for each line segment. Its length should be more than half of the video recording. Otherwise, three or more items will be created.
Step 4
If you want to split the avi file into two equal parts, select the “Size” splitting type. In the next step, select the "Equal Lines" parameter and enter the number of future elements.
Step 5
Click the "Apply" button and wait while the program processes the video. After completing the specified procedure, the "Output files" field will appear in the left menu. It should display two video clips.
Step 6
Open the properties of each of them and change the additional characteristics of the image and sound transmission. Then click the "Save" button. In the new menu, specify the folder in which the new video clips will be created. Enter their name.
Step 7
Click the "Proceed" button and wait for the completed procedure to complete. Open the folder where the received fragments were saved. Check their performance and quality.
